Time

I didn't have time to thank you God,
for everything you've done.
I remember a time when someone said,
that you gave your only son.

But why for me? I cannot see, I'm unworthy
of thy love. I'm unaware of the things, that
come from up above.

I do not understand dear God,
when they say that I have sinned.
I read once where you said,
"I'm the beginning and the end".

I've read and heard this many times,
but none of it makes sense.
To know of all of the things you've said,
seems still a little dense.

So today I come to you, dear Lord,
please be patient with me.
I want to be a child of yours,
to be with you at ease.

I'll give to you my whole life,
so I can live again,
and I will spend eternity ,
with you my dearest friend.
